In this immersive show, you'll be accompanied and guided by the authentic voice of Howard Carter himself, as you explore what is arguably the most remarkable archaeological find in history.
Step into the virtual world
An augmented reality experience transports you to Tutankhamun's burial chamber in Luxor's Valley of the Kings. In the interactive experience room, you can delve into hieroglyphic writing and immerse yourself in the world of archaeology, uncovering life-sized treasures just as Howard Carter did in 1922. In the virtual reality section of the exhibition, you become the protagonist of a journey through the winding passages of the Book of the Dead, facing the Judgement of Osiris, and if you pass all the trials, you'll achieve eternal life in the fields of Aaru—the "afterlife" of the ancient Egyptians.

Treasure Rooms Be captivated by the rich stories of Ancient Egyptian civilization as you explore exceptionally curated treasure rooms. Discover beautifully crafted replicas and a selection of original artefacts dating back to 4,000 BC – including offering tables for the deceased, funerary shabtis, statues of nobles and offerers, and a 3,000-year-old faience bead necklace once worn by someone close to the royal court. These rare objects, on loan from the Félix Cervera Archaeology Gallery in Barcelona, offer a powerful glimpse into the beliefs, rituals, and artistry of Tutankhamun's world.
The exhibition is a highly immersive experience and includes fast-moving visuals, flashing lights, loud sounds, virtual reality, and metaverse environments.
While many visitors enjoy this intensity, some individuals — including young children, autistic visitors, people with sensory sensitivities, epilepsy, or other neurological conditions — may find the experience overstimulating.
We strongly encourage parents, caregivers, and visitors to carefully consider whether the exhibition is suitable for their personal needs. If you have any doubts, we recommend taking breaks during the visit or consulting our staff on site.

Yes, assistance dogs are welcome. Please be aware that if the dog's behaviour does not meet the required standards, entry may be denied.

ABOUT ACCESS TO THE EVENT
No food or beverages are to be consumed inside the exhibition. You will be asked to dispose of any open foods/beverages before entering the exhibition.
Exceptions on medical grounds can be made but water must be in a lidded/sealed bottle. Please make the staff aware upon arrival. Terminal 1 provides space to wait before entering the exhibition. The waiting area is equipped with a Café and offers both drinks, snacks and smaller dishes!
Weapons, bladed/sharp articles, ammunition, explosives, horns, whistles, drums, fireworks, flags, flagpoles, inflatables, wet umbrellas, glass bottles, flammable liquids in any container, laser pens, professional camera equipment, confetti, glitter bombs, paint, paint powder, glue, balloons, wheeled footwear, helmets, full face masks, card readers or any other item which in our reasonable opinion, may cause danger or disruption to any Event or to other visitors (regardless of whether or not such item is illegal or is carried for specific purposes); ceremonial bladed articles, where certain conditions for entry are not met.
Food and beverages, flash photography, prams and buggies, alcohol, smoking, vaping, umbrellas and anything which may disturb the other patrons.
Photography and filming of short sequences with smartphones, handheld cameras or other small devices is only permitted for private purposes. We are happy for you to share your experience. The use of tripods, flash or other accessories is not permitted, nor is filming the entire immersive show. We also ask you to be considerate of other guests.
