In this immersive show, you'll be accompanied and guided by the authentic voice of Howard Carter himself, as you explore what is arguably the most remarkable archaeological find in history.

Step into the virtual world 

An augmented reality experience transports you to Tutankhamun's burial chamber in Luxor's Valley of the Kings. In the interactive experience room, you can delve into hieroglyphic writing and immerse yourself in the world of archaeology, uncovering life-sized treasures just as Howard Carter did in 1922. In the virtual reality section of the exhibition, you become the protagonist of a journey through the winding passages of the Book of the Dead, facing the Judgement of Osiris, and if you pass all the trials, you'll achieve eternal life in the fields of Aaru—the "afterlife" of the ancient Egyptians.

    Entry can be booked in 30-minute slots. You determine the duration of your visit yourself. Allow approx. 60-90 minutes for your visit (Please note: The premises unfortunately offer little space for guests arriving early to wait. Therefore, please try to arrive on time, max. 5 minutes after the start of your booked slot!)

    All ages are welcome! Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. (Children under the age of 7 cannot use the VR headsets)
  • Accessibility:
    The exhibitions are wheelchair accessible (Note: When purchasing a PMR ticket, you are entitled to a free ticket for your accompanying person. Simply contact our customer service with the relevant proof of purchase for a PMR ticket.)

Malmömässan is in Hyllie just outside the center of Malmö and it is easily accessible by train, car, or bus. You can reach the train station with a 3-minute walk from the facility and from there you can reach Kastrup in 12 minutes, Malmö city center in 3 minutes, and Copenhagen Central Station in 24 minutes. Malmömässan is directly adjacent to the Inner Ringroad.

The entrance to the exhibition is located around the corner to the left of the main entrance to Malmömässan.

Now Ancient Egypt is brought back to life: Tutankhamon - The Immersive Exhibition takes you to the legendary Ancient Egypt and its secrets as a new, digital multimedia highlight.

How long does the experience last? For you to have an estimate, people usually spend 60-90 min at this experience.
Will food and beverage be available on site for purchase? Unfortunately, there won't be food or beverage for purchase at this event.
Is there parking available? Paid parking is available near the venue
Will there be merchandise for sale? Yes, there will be merchandise for sale.

About tickets

Where can I get tickets? In the Fever App, available on Google Play and the Apple StoreOn the Fever website
Can I purchase tickets at the door? Tickets will not be sold on site; they can only be purchased in the Fever App or on the Fever website.
Can I transfer my tickets to another person? Yes, you can transfer your tickets to anyone for free. It is as easy as clicking "Transfer Tickets" on your ticket in the Fever App. Please contact us if you need additional help. Make sure to include your ticket order number.
Do I need to print my ticket? You can find your ticket in the "Tickets" section of the Fever app (you can download it from the Apple App Store or Google Play). Please remember to log in with the same login method used to make the purchase.
You will also find your QR code in your purchase confirmation email.
I can't find my ticket. What should I do? You can view your ticket in the Fever app, within the Tickets section. If you don't have the app installed, you can download it from the Apple Store or Google Play. Remember to log in using the same account that you used when buying the tickets. If you still cannot find your ticket, please contact us.
Can I change the date of my ticket? Are refunds allowed?

This experience allows date changes up to 48 hours in advance. If you would like to make the change, please contact us and include the ticket ID associated with your purchase (What is the ticket ID?). One of our agents will respond to your request as soon as possible, informing you of the next steps to follow.

About access to the event

Do I need to arrive at the start of my scheduled session? It is recommended that you arrive at the time stated on your ticket
What happens if I arrive late? Subject to availability, you may be allowed to enter in the following session.
Can I bring animals? Are service dogs allowed? No pets are allowed inside the exhibition. Guide and assistance dogs are welcome.
Is the venue accessible? Yes, the event is being held in an accessible venue.
What are the prohibited items at the experience? Food and beverages, flash photography, alcohol, smoking, vaping, and anything that may disturb the other patrons are allowed in the venue.
Do you offer carer tickets? Upon presentation of a companion certificate, one companion per user can enter free of charge and does not need to purchase a ticket.
Is the experience accessible for deaf/visually impaired people? Tutankhamon is a visual and auditory experience and, unfortunately, is not suitable for individuals with visual impairments.
Will there be strobe lights? This event won't include strobe lights, however please be aware that individuals with epilepsy should take caution, as there are flashing images.
Are there chairs available? Can I be seated during the experience/exhibition? There will be limited seating in the immersive area of the experience, the VR experience is seated but no seats will be available for the rest of the exhibition.
Will restrooms be available on site? Yes.
Can I take photos or record the experience? Feel free to take photos and share them. When taking photos, please make sure not to disturb other customers. Professional equipment and tripods are not permitted.
Is there a Lost & Found? We would recommend to ask the staff at the venue if they have found your belongings. If you cannot ask them on site, please reach out at info@nordicexhibitions.se
Is coat check available? Yes, a coat check is available for your convenience. Please note, however, that items left are unattended, so we encourage you not to leave any valuables.
Is there an age requirement? Children up to the age of 6 enter for free with a Child (0-6) ticket. Please note that the exhibition is not a playground. Due to the sound and light effects, we recommend that children aged 6 and over visit Tutankhamun!
Will there be an audio guide? No.
